  • As with all computer systems that involve the Internet there is always the risk of security attacks to your home computer. We suggest that for the safety of your home computer and the privacy of any of your information you familiarize yourself with and install methods of protecting your computer. Although we use the most advanced methods of protecting your information as it is stored on our website, Genesis Health System cannot be responsible for the privacy of your information on your own computer.
  • IQHealth is best viewed using Internet Explorer 5.5 (and above) or Netscape 6.2 (and above).

Features

  • Personal Health Record (PHR)
The PHR is offered to you free of charge by Genesis Health System for your personal record keeping. Your PHR is a record that you may keep of your medications, refill information, past surgeries, allergies, etc. It is all the information that you need when you visit a new healthcare provider or to keep your physicians informed of events in your healthcare.  The information you enter is confidential. We suggest you print a copy of your journal for your physician and also to keep with emergency documents or to take with you when you travel.
  • Diabetes Center
The Diabetes Center is a unique online community dedicated to helping you achieve better control of your diabetes. Keeping your blood glucose levels close to normal substantially reduces your risk of developing diseases of the eye, kidney, nerves and heart.
  • Message Center
The Message Center is for direct communication with your physician and the office staff. You must be a patient of a physician affiliated with Genesis Health System. This section will enable you to request appointments, medication refills and to ask general questions. We will be introducing this section in stages. Our first group of health care professionals to be participating in this piece are the Diabetes Center. Your physician will communicate with you as it becomes available.
  • Health Planner
You may take an evaluation or assessment of your health condition. The information you enter into the evaluation (called the IQHealth Assessment) will generate a report that will be saved in your health planner for future reference.
    • IQHealth Assessment - a comprehensive 150 question health risk assessment. After completion of the assessment, you will receive a report outlining your overall health.
    • Genesis Health Assessment - a smaller version of the comprehensive IQHealth Assessment. It contains only 22 questions about your current health status. Upon completion, you will be presented with an overview of your current health.
  • Medications Center
The Medications Center is a connection to the Multum Drug Information Center. You can research medications, side effects and dosing. This center also allows you to store the information about the medications you are currently taking. When a new medication is entered into this center, Multum will check any interactions that may occur between medications you are currently taking and any new ones that you have been prescribed.
  • Member Maintenance
The member maintenance section allows you to create accounts for your family members, and manage your password.
  • Permission Maintenance
This section allows you to grant permission to another My e-health member or a Healthcare Professional to access your Personal Health Record and/or Message Center.
  • Personal Address Book
The Personal Address Book is a secure place to store emergency contacts, health professional contacts, and Health Organization Information (Hospitals, Clinics, Pharmacies, etc.)
