Genesis EAP Reaccredited By Council On Accreditation

Davenport, Iowa – June 14, 2006 --  Genesis EAP has just received notification that as of July 1st, 2006 they will be reaccredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).  The announcement was recently made to Mary Hill-Sutherland, Manager of Genesis EAP. COA accreditation attests that an organization meets the highest international standards.

Genesis Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an employer-sponsored benefit that provides confidential assessment, short-term counseling, referral (when necessary), and follow-up services for employees and their immediate family members.  Currently EAP provides services to over 5000 clients internally, as well as over 200 external companies.

The COA accreditation process involves a comprehensive examination of the organization’s compliance with the highest of practice standards.  The accreditation process incorporates the review of organizational standards including human resources, financial and risk management, and continuous quality development.  The COA as well incorporates the compliance with thirty-nine service standards.

With this renewal, Genesis EAP will be accredited through July 31, 2010.  EAP offers the utmost premium of services to all Genesis employees and their immediate family.
