Illini Laboratory

Our full service interstate laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  93% of the technical staff are board certified laboratorians. Yearly, Illini laboratory performs 300,000 billable lab tests. By utilizing Quest Diagnostics  as our reference laboratory, we are able to provide a most comprehensive test menu.

Our Medical Director Jose G. Acosta-Olmeda, M.D. and Associate Director Sameena Ahmed, M.D. also provide laboratory and pathology services to Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt, Hammond Henry Hospital and Jackson County Public Hospital.

We are conveniently located on the main floor of the Larson Center at 855 Illini Drive in Silvis. Most insurance plans are accepted. No appointments are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Pre-registration is available for orders received via fax three days prior to testing date.
