Radiology Services At DeWitt Community Hospital

Our Radiology Department provides high-tech testing by experienced staff. Services including general x-ray imaging, mammography, computerized tomography (CT) scans, ultrasound, bone density, fluoroscopy, and echocardiography (EKG) services. We have contracted with Health Enterprises for a mobile magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system, allowing it to provide outstanding MRI diagnostic capability to physicians serving patients in the Clinton County area.  The mobile unit is one of the latest generation of high-field, short bore MRI systems.  It delivers the fastest scanning times and highest resolution images available.  The mobile MRI is at DeWitt Community Hospital each Monday afternoon.  The images are read at Genesis Medical Center and reports are available to the ordering physician on the following Wednesday. 

The Radiology Department is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am. to 5:00 pm.  Staff is also available on-call for after-hours emergencies.
