2007 Web Marketing Association

Genesis Health System has won the award for "Outstanding Web Site."

The 2007 WebAwards names the best Web sites in 96 industry categories. Nominations for best web site came from interactive agencies and web site marketing departments in more than 33 countries from around the world.

The Genesis Health System Web site has won a "Merit" award in the "Health Promotion/Disease & Injury Prevention Information" Class.

The World Wide Web Health Awards is a program that recognizes the best health-related Web sites for consumers and professionals. The program is held twice a year—spring/summer and fall/winter—with the goal of providing a "seal of quality" for electronic health information.

2006 eHealthcare Leadership Awards

The Genesis Health System Web site has received national recognition for the fourth consecutive year in the annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards.

2006 Web Marketing Association

Genesis Health System has won the award for Healthcare Provider Standard of Excellence.

The Web Marketing Association is the producer of the WebAward Competition.  Now in its 10th year, the WebAwards is the premier annual web site award competition that names the best Web sites in 96 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all website development.

2005 eHealthcare Leadership Awards

For the third consecutive year Genesis has received an eHealthcare Leadership Award.  This year Genesis received a "Gold" award for Health Systems in the category "Best Interactive Site" as well as a "Silver" award for "Best Overall Internet Site."  The Awards program drew nearly 1,200 entries.  Winners were recognized during a special presentation at the Ninth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference held November 7 - 9, 2005, in Las Vegas. 

 

2004 eHealthcare Leadership Awards

Genesis again received an award at the eHealthcare Leadership Awards.  This year Genesis received a "Silver" award for Health Systems in the category "Best Care/Disease Management Site."  The Awards program drew 1,202 entries.  Winners were honored at a luncheon presentation in Las Vegas on November 9, 2004.

 

2003 eHealthcare Leadership Awards

The site received a "Gold" award for Health Systems in the category "Best Care/Disease Management Site" at the 2003 eHealthcare Leadership Awards luncheon that was held at the Healthcare Internet and Technology Conference.

The award is for the "My e-health" initiative which launched in 2003. My e-health is a service available on the Genesis Web site that allows individuals to create and maintain an online record of health information for themselves and their family members. Creating an account enables you to track personal health contact information, store medication information and check for drug interactions, and take one of two health risk assessments.

Your Personal Health Record provides a useful online repository for detailed information about immunizations, allergies, medications, medical tests, surgeries and more. There are also disease management modules that allow for monitoring of specific conditions. Currently, we have a Diabetes module in place with future plans for Asthma, CHF and Sleep.

 

Spring 2003 World Wide Web Health Awards

The Genesis Health System (GHS) Web site, www.genesishealth.com, received top honors in the Spring 2003 World Wide Web Health Awards Program.

The site, designed by Geonetric of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, won "Best Site Structure & Navigation" and a "Gold Award" for "Miscellaneous/Professional Web site."

The World Wide Web Health Awards is a program that recognizes the best health-related websites for consumers and professionals. The program is held twice a year - spring and fall - with the goal of providing a "seal of quality" for electronic health information. The World Wide Web Health Awards is organized by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials. This Web-based health awards is an extension of the HIRC's nine-year old National Health Information Awards, the largest program of its kind in the United States. Last year, there were nearly 1,000 NHIA entries from hundreds of organizations.
