I am passionate about what I do because I find it extremely rewarding to make a personal connection with patients and help them in their most vulnerable and stressful moments.

My philosophy is to provide compassionate, safe, high-quality, and patient centered care. I strive to accomplish this through my role as an educator, patient advocate, and promoter of good health practices. I chose to pursue the medical field after experiencing the exemplary care of one particular nurse during my own health crisis. The compassion, empathy, and commitment she exuded sparked my desire to become a nurse and help others as she had helped me.
