It is rewarding to help someone reach their goals, whether it’s to return to work, hold a grandchild or simply not get dizzy when getting out of bed. Empowering patients to return to their normal daily routine while receiving their sincere appreciation motivates me to continue providing the best possible care.

The physical therapy profession appealed to me because it blended my interest in medicine with my interest in an active lifestyle as well as serving as an educator to others to be remain active as well. As a physical therapist, I really enjoy the ability to spend time getting to know my patients and their unique situation so I can tailor the treatment to improve their function.

Areas Of Interest

I enjoy treating a variety of orthopedic injuries and providing post-operative care. However, I really find the challenge of treating vertigo and concussions rewarding as it can really change a patient’s functional capacity in their daily life.

Outside of work I enjoy family time outdoors when the weather is good for hiking, camping, biking and traveling. My kids’ sporting activities keep us busy, but have also inspired me to get back into running a little bit more. When the weather turns cold, I like to curl up with a good book, fit a puzzle or finish a knitting project.
