I am passionate most about prevention. I work with a lot of throwing athletes and try to get people to understand that many of the injuries young throwers face can be prevented.

I thought I wanted to be a an athletic trainer out of high school. But after looking into PT, I found out physical therapy was a lot like being an athletic trainer for everybody.

My philosophy is centered around the notion that if you listen to patients, they will tell you the cure. As a result, I pride myself on really listening to my patients and remembering what they tell me so I can ask them about it in the future.

Areas Of Interest

What I enjoy most is the diversity of the profession both in the number of diagnoses but mainly in the diversity of patients. I enjoy treating all orthopedic conditions, especially joint replacements, and treating dysfunctions of the shoulder. Being a lifetime baseball fan, I especially like working with throwing athletes and helping them get safely back to competition.

I am a native Davenporter and graduated from Assumption High School.  I currently reside in Davenport with my wife, Jennifer, and our three children Lindsay, Jessica, and J.J.  I enjoy taking in my kids' activities, coaching baseball, watching the Cubs, and playing golf.
