Work Begins on WellSpire Senior Living Community in Bettendorf
Leaders from Genesis and Johnston, Iowa-based WesleyLife have broken ground on a new senior living complex in Bettendorf. The senior living community, named The Summit of Bettendorf, is anticipated to open in February 2021.
The facility is being developed by WellSpire, a collaboration between Genesis and WesleyLife. The Summit of Bettendorf, near the southwest corner of the roundabout at 53rd Street and Middle Road, will bring a new kind of senior living to the Quad Cities.
The campus will include levels of living ranging from independent living through assisted living, assisted living memory support, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term health care, with all programming conceived around a focus of health and well-being.
Thirteen apartment homes are already spoken for. Interested residents have a choice of floor plans and can reserve a home with a fully refundable deposit.
