The MercyOne Genesis Ambulance has provided advanced life support care to our communities for more than 35 years.  We currently service the following communities:  In Illinois: East Moline, Silvis, Colona, Carbon Cliff, Hampton, Rapids City, Port Byron, Hillsdale, Cordova, Coal Valley and Hammond Henry and MercyOne Genesis Aledo Hospitals.  In Iowa:  DeWitt, Low Moor, Grand Mound, Welton, Charlotte and Folletts.

We currently have 88 employees, including 39 Paramedics, 26 Paramedic Specialists, 2 Advanced EMTs, 18 EMTs, and 3 PHRNs.  Our fleet consists of 16 ambulances of which 6 are staffed at all times.  We also staff ambulances 12 hours a day to provide transfer services for Hammond Henry Hospital and MercyOne Genesis Aledo Medical Center doubling as ALS resources for Mercer and Henry Counties.

Aside from 911 ambulance service, we provide, transfer services, bariatric transport, special event ALS coverage, disaster preparedness attached to MABAS 39 and community education.
