Genesis Health System respects the privacy of every individual who visits our Web sites. What information does Genesis Health System collect and how is it used?

Through our website or Patient Portal application, we may collect information by which you may be personally identified, such as first and last name, home and email address, account password, telephone number, social security number, alternative names, or insurance information ("personal information");Genesis Health System typically receives specific data about its Website visitors only when such information is provided voluntarily, such as when our visitors request information, purchase or enroll for services, arrange for scheduling, make donations, request patient portal access, provide resume information for employment opportunities, or send us e-mail. To perform correctly, some features of the Genesis Patient Portal application (“App”) may require the permissions, additional information, or device setting or enabling below. These permissions may be amended from time to time as necessary to comply with web browser, security, or legal requirements. You may choose not to enable these types of access, but this may result in a more limited use of the App.

  1. Current GPS Location. The Patient Portal App requires access to location data to identify and display facilities and locations near you.

  2. Read and Write Files and Images. The Patient Portal App requires read and write access to your device’s files and images so that you may attach files to messages or visits.

  3. Camera Access. The Patient Portal App requires access to your device's camera for video visits and attaching images to messages or visits.

  4. Microphone Access. The Patient Portal App requires access to your device's microphone for video visits.

  5. Wi-Fi and Network Access. The Patient Portal App requires access to your device's network status for troubleshooting and support.

  6. IMEI Access. The Patient Portal App requires access to your device’s International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) to perform video visits.
