Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Programs (BCCEDP)
These programs are available to eligible women who meet state specific guidelines. These programs help women receive the screening and diagnostic services needed to detect early signs of breast and cervical cancer. Some clients who are diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may be eligible for their state’s Medicaid Program under the Breast and Cervical Treatment Act. Services are provided by contracted local health care facilities.
Iowa (Care for Yourself)
In Scott, Clinton, and Jackson Counties, this program is referred to as the Care For Yourself Program and is managed by MercyOne Genesis Medical Center through a grant from the Scott County and Clinton County Health Departments. Funding is provided by the Iowa Department of Public Health and the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Illinois (Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program)
In Illinois this program is referred to as the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) and is managed by the Rock Island County Health Department. Funding is provided by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Voucher Programs
Funded by a grant from the Susan G. Komen Greater Iowa, administered by MercyOne Genesis Medical Center, the programs serve residents of the following counties:
In Iowa:
Scott, Cedar, Clinton, and Muscatine
In Illinois:
Rock Island, Mercer, Henry and Whiteside
The Voucher Programs provide:
- Mammogram screening or diagnostic
- Breast ultrasound
Having insurance does not mean that a financial barrier does not exist. These services may be non-covered services or a deductible/co-pay may apply. If the ability to financially cover these services is an issue, please call for a confidential, individualized evaluation of your situation.
