Ted Rogalski, FACHE
Administrator, MercyOne Genesis Aledo Medical Center, and MercyOne Genesis DeWitt Medical Center
Area of Responsibility: All aspects of day-to-day hospital operations and strategic development, such as new construction, physician relations and expanding hospital services for GMC-Aledo, located in Aledo, Ill., and GMC-DeWitt, located in DeWitt, Iowa.
Bio: Rogalski began his career in health care at St. Luke's Hospital, a predecessor to Genesis, now known as Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme Street, Davenport. During that time, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at St. Ambrose University. He moved to the Twin Cities, where he directed surgical support services at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis before returning to school. He received his Master's degree in Health Care and Hospital Administration from the University of Iowa and worked for Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa, before returning to Genesis in 1997 as it's first Administrative Fellow.
Over the past 25 years with Genesis, he has held a number of leadership positions, including Director of Materials Management, Director of Neurosciences and Imaging Services, Interim CEO of GMC-DeWitt and Administrator, GMC-Aledo.
Rogalski, a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, currently serves as Chair for the Illinois Hospital and Health Association Board of Trustees and Treasurer for the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network. He has also served as the Chair for the Small and Rural Hospital Committee of the Illinois Hospital Association and has been an active community volunteer on the boards of the American Hospital Association - Regional Policy Board, Vera French Mental Health Center, St. Ambrose University PA Program, Mercer County Better Together, Mercer County YMCA, St. Paul the Apostle School, Assumption High School Century Club, and Friendship Manor.
Rogalski and his wife, Lisa, have five married adult children and one grandson.
