I love getting to know my patients and their families. The best part of my job is being able to improve their pain, function, and quality of life, while teaching them how to take care of themselves.

My treatment philosophy is patient-centered and functional movement and exercise based. I was motivated to be a physical therapist in order to work in a field that could directly and profoundly impact another person's life.

Areas Of Interest

I have a strong interest in geriatrics. Specifically, I enjoy treating patients with total joint replacements, amputations, and gait and balance disorders.

I am the mom of two very busy teenagers! My son, Dane, is involved in multiple school and travel sports teams. My daughter, Elsa, is on her high school dance team and a competition team through her local studio. I spend most of my free time cheering them on at their respective activities, and their involvement has produced my special interest in youth sports injury prevention and treatment. When I do have time to myself, you'll find me at concert, as I love music - especially live shows. I am also a member at St. Paul Lutheran in Davenport, which which has allowed me to help with youth missions.

I've received the Genesis 10 year service award. I have also been recognized for service excellence for my work at West Wing in DeWitt, and recently in Eldridge for a Genesis Mission Moment. I am a former rehab supervisor and I planned and opened the Eldridge clinic 9 years ago. Currently, I am the Service Champion representative for our Eldridge location.
