Shannon Herra, PT, DPT

There is something special about seeing a child’s face light-up when they’re able to achieve a movement or milestone they previously couldn’t complete. It’s incredible when you then get to witness those movements benefit the child with their participation and interaction in community events with their peers.

As a therapist I do my best to take a family-centered approach. This means to determine what the patient and their families goals are in order to best tailor their therapy and treatment interventions to match their specific needs. I became a physical therapist because I love to learn and trial ways in which our bodies can adapt and overcome in order to optimize function in day to day life.
