My favorite part of psychiatry is the healing process...giving hope to many who can be hopeless. I continually learn from my patients, and I am inspired by their resilience time and time again.

I attended medical school with an open mind and explored different specialties throughout my education. I was drawn to psychiatry because I was inherently curious and honored to learn more about patients and be a witness to their life story.

Areas Of Interest

I treat a variety of mental illnesses with both medications and psychotherapy techniques. Additionally, I focus on improving a patient's overall mental health by discussing social support, coping skills, food and physical activity.

I have always had a love of music. I grew up playing the piano and flute, continued musical studies throughout college, and still enjoy playing. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family, particularly my young children.
