I find my profession very rewarding and love the connection it helps me build with my patients and their families. It is this feeling that keeps me going, and I strive to do better every time.

I feel that medicine is not just treating the patient or their illness, it's more like healing them and their families with your presence and empathy. I think listening with sympathy produces a big portion of the care I like to give my patients. I come from a family of physicians with my mom being an OB-GYN and my dad an internist. Since my early childhood days, I would hear patients appreciating and blessing my parents for helping them in their most needful times. It was very encouraging and inspiring to hear those words, which were very influential on my decision to pursue a career in medicine.

I love doing everything I do in the scope of a general pediatrician, but my special areas of interest are cardiology and dermatology.

I am a very simple, straightforward person at heart. I live in the Quad-Cities area with my family of four which consists of my loving husband and our two daughters, Mahi and Myra. My hobbies are traveling and spending quality time with my family. We love going out on vacations, excursions, and adventures together.
