I take great pride in my work as a physical therapist, and am honored that each of my patients and clients entrusts me to be a part of their healthcare team. I am passionate about optimizing movement for each individual that comes to see me in the clinic. I love the versatility of physical therapy and I love being able to personalize my treatment approach to fit the needs of my patients and clients.

I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and have been a part of the competitive dance world my entire life. I am passionate about working with dancers of all ages and levels:

  • Board-Certified in Orthopedics
  • 18+ Years of Studio Training
  • Former member of the nationally ranked St. Ambrose Competitive Dance Team and has since returned to be a part of their coaching staff
  • International Association for Dance Medicine Specialists (IADMS)
  • Doctors for Dancers (DFD).

My ultimate goal is to create a safe environment for dancers to rehab and train. To help dancers sustain a long and healthy dance career, I believe in working with the dancer as both an athlete AND an artist!

Areas Of Interest

I am most specialized in the area of orthopedics and subsequently performing arts and dance medicine. In addition to traditional physical therapy services, I offer injury prevention sessions/workshops and performance training sessions to my dancers. I also treat vestibular and post-concussion patients. I am trained in the Sports Lab and am able to perform specialized assessments on our 3D running analysis Motion Metrix system and ForceDecks force plates.

In addition to working as a physical therapist, I am the assistant dance coach for the St. Ambrose University Dance Team. I love working with my athletes and the competitive nature of the program at St. Ambrose. Outside of coaching, I enjoy staying active with cycling and yoga/pilates classes. I love to travel with my husband and my family, and also enjoy curling up on the couch with a good book!
