I love educating, alleviating pain, and finding answers to common and varied ailments. At the end of the day, I would like to sleep knowing I did the best I could for my patients or anyone who trusted me with their care.

Care for others as you would like them to care for you or your loved ones. Be true, compassionate, and have empathy. First, I became a CNA, while thinking about continuing in the law field or not. My BHC teachers advised me to seek the nursing field because I was caring. I never thought about health care because I feared hospitals due to countless painful injections received as a child to treat malaria. At a younger age, I decided I would become a lawyer to help the disadvantaged. My goal in life is to help those who can't help themselves; in the medical field we think, act, do for the good of the patient.

I am a wife and mother of three. My children are my biggest achievement and the main reason I push myself to do more and get better every day. I went from being a CNA , to a RN, and now a Nurse Practitioner. I love reading and developed that habit ever since I learned to read. I can devour a good book in less than 24 hrs. I read with a dictionary by my side. In middle school, I was nicknamed "Dictionary" because there was no word I could not define.
