At the Heart Institute Clinic, Dr. Vickie Diamandakis Pyevich and her staff offer, in addition to office visits, EKG's, echocardiograms as well as fetal echocardiography, which is her specialty.

Dr. Pyevich was recently listed in the “Best Doctors in America” database, which includes physicians who are recognized by their peers as highly skilled practitioners of their specialty.
She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, Iowa City. She is the director of the fetal echocardiography program as well as the director of the Preventative Cardiology Clinics. Dr. Pyevich also directs the Quad Cities Pediatric Cardiology Services Clinics, which recently established a second site in Moline in addition to her main office at the MercyOne Genesis Heart Institute.
Her clinic recently passed a rigorous review and received accreditation from the Inter societal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL). The ICAEL has very demanding criteria that makes it very difficult to receive its accreditation, which only goes to the highest quality pediatric echocardiology labs. She is presently collaborating with the Bettendorf Community School District in providing instruction to elementary students regarding healthy lifestyles. She also serves as the MercyOne Genesis Medical Centers Chair of Pediatrics.
Dr. Pyevich received her undergraduate training at Loras College and her medical degree from the University Of Iowa College Of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Residency at University of Iowa College of Medicine and her pediatric cardiology fellowship at a combined program at Children’s Memorial Hospital Northwestern University, Chicago and University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, Iowa City, IA.
