As a pediatrician, I get to play an integral role in shaping patients to be the best and most healthy they can be, setting a good foundation for the future while working with parents to have a family-centered model of care.

I have always loved going to school and learning, in particular about science and math. My love for being around and working with children began when I was young as my mom ran an in-home daycare. I realized the perfect fit for these interests was to pursue a career in Pediatrics. I know that I fit best as a general pediatrician, getting to see children for a variety of issues while watching them grow and develop. I like that medicine is an evolving field that keeps us on our toes with lifelong learning.

Areas Of Interest

I enjoy all general pediatric issues, but have particular interest in breastfeeding and infant care as well as mood and behavioral issues in school-age children and teenagers.

I am an Iowa native, but newer to the Quad City area. I most enjoy  spending time with my husband, daughter, son, and dog! We like to visit family and friends, go to the park, take the dog on a walk, and go on a bicycle, among other things. I enjoy reading as well as attempting to garden and be crafty!
