CNA Scholarship
The Burzlaff Family CNA Scholarship was established in 2013 by the Burzlaff family in loving memory of their mother, Luella Burzlaff, who passed away in 2011. Luella was a resident at Westwing Place for 8 years and often commented on the outstanding care she received from the Westwing Place staff, including the CNA staff. A life-long resident of this community, Luella believed strongly in supporting her community and the importance of health care.
The Burzlaff Family CNA Scholarship will be presented semi-annually to one or more members of the Genesis Medical Center-DeWitt/Westwing Place staff for the purpose of continuing education and the enhancement of professional skills. This award is not intended for tuition reimbursement or degree programs.

BSN Scholarship
This scholarship assists current GMC-DeWitt nurses obtain their baccalaureate of science degree in nursing.
Working closely with nursing administrators, the Foundation revised the terms of the scholarships available. GMC-DeWitt nurses may receive up to $5,000 to complete their undergraduate BSN degree over three years.
The application deadline is March 31 of the current year. Scholarship recipients will be announced in early May for that years school year.
College Scholarships
Open to a Clinton County College sophomore or above seeking a career in the medical field. Two-yearly scholarships of $1,000 each will be given. You may apply annually.

High School Scholarships
Open to any high school senior at Calamus-Wheatland, Central DeWitt and Northeast High School seeking a career in the medical field. One scholarship will be awarded to each high school annually.
