It is an honor to be present with women in their moments of greatest joy and greatest need. From watching a baby's first breath to sharing the news of a difficult diagnosis, I treasure my role as helper and healer. As an obstetrician and gynecologist, I love delivering babies, performing surgeries, and educating women throughout all stages of life.

I left my role as a second grade teacher to become an OB/GYN after an important experience with an amazing doctor. As a physician, I think of myself as a partner with my patients to meet their health care needs and goals. Together we work toward wellness and healing. My role is first, and always, to listen compassionately. Once I know a patient's story, I can offer my experience and knowledge to provide the best evidence-based medical care available. Above all, I value treating every woman, regardless of her story, with dignity, respect and kindness.

I have a wonderful family and enjoy time with my husband and four young children more than anything. We love to ride the bike trails, play cards, board games, and read books aloud together. I have a background in fine arts, especially ceramics and sculpture. If I have free time, you'll find me gardening, sewing or reading a novel. I love to dance and would travel anywhere.
