Communication is at the heart of all interpersonal relationships and is a part of all our daily lives. I believe that the ability to communicate is something most of us take for granted, and it is eye opening to see how significantly communication delays impact a persons life. As a speech language pathologist, I have the privilege of helping patient's improve their communication skills, which is extremely rewarding and motivating to me as a therapist.

Throughout my years in school, I was interested in science and also in language. For me, speech language pathology is a career filled with the perfect combination of both. I am fascinated by the variety of settings and populations that I can work with as a speech language pathologist, and I look forward to exploring these endless options throughout my career.
