Many individuals with mental illness often feel as though the medical field dismisses them, or labels them. My passion is to advocate for those individuals that feel they have no one on their team. Mental illness is an illness and should receive the same compassionate care that other physical illnesses receive.

I believe that each person should be treated with dignity and respect. Everybody has a story, and this story is an important part of their history and must be considered when treating the individual. I believe my path in the medical field was my destiny.
