I am passionate about working in the weight management clinic because it allows me to support individuals in achieving healthier lifestyles, improving their overall well-being, and preventing chronic diseases. Helping people reach their weight management goals is deeply fulfilling, as it involves empowering them with the knowledge and tools to make sustainable, positive changes.

My philosophy of care as a nurse practitioner centers on a holistic, patient-centered approach that focuses on empathy, education, and collaboration. I believe in treating the whole person, considering their physical and emotional needs, while involving them in their care decisions to take on a sense of empowerment and partnership. My passion for becoming a nurse practitioner comes from a desire to make a difference in people's lives by providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

Areas Of Interest

My areas of interest in the weight management clinic will be the daily challenge of addressing different health needs and formulating an individualized plan of care that may include a combination of lifestyle changes and medication management.

I live on a farm with my husband and our two golden retrievers. My hobbies include spending time with friends and family, as well as going on walks with our dogs. My free time is often spent helping on the farm, searching for our next vacation or reading a good book.
