Genesis and Iowa Donor Network celebrate the gift of life

WHO: Genesis Health System and the Iowa Donor Network

WHAT: In honor of National Donate Life Month, Genesis Health System will raise the Donate Life flag to celebrate those who have chosen to share the gift of life through organ, eye and tissue donation.

WHERE: Genesis Medical Center, 1227 E. Rusholme St., Davenport. The ceremony will take place at the hospital's flagpole on the East Rusholme St. side.

WHEN: Wednesday, April 10 at 11 am

MEDIA NOTES: The event will feature a poignant program led by Genesis Chaplains Marcy Heil and Tami Bogosian, who will raise the Donor Flag. This will be followed by a moment of silence to pay tribute to those who have generously given the ultimate gift of life and to acknowledge the recipients of these life-changing donations.
