Centennial Bridge at NightThe Quad Cities are comprised of Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline in Illinois. There are also numerous small communities in the surrounding area. Combined, they provide the benefits of living in a big city, while maintaining a small town atmosphere. The Quad Cities are located just off Interstate 80, and are conveniently served by the Quad City International Airport in Moline.

Education: The Quad Cities public schools are statistically among the highest in the nation and parochial schools are plentiful. The area also offers three four year institutions, the many schools of the University of Iowa, and many technical schools.

Culture and Recreation: A dozen museums and galleries and a score of performing arts organizations, including a professional symphony are available. A new, ten thousand seat civic center plays host to the country's biggest entertainers. One can choose from a diverse menu of festivals and special events, from the Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival, to the annual Civil War Muster. Riverboat casinos are the choice for some. Baseball, Hockey and Arena Football teams satisfy the sports fan. For the more proactive, there is an organization, facility, or space for nearly every imaginable sport.
