While tobacco use can be VERY difficult to overcome, it is worth the effort, as the benefits outweigh the difficulties.

Quitting smoking, or other tobacco use, is the most difficult addiction to overcome. There are 2 addictions involved:
- physical addiction to nicotine
- psychological addiction to the act of using tobacco
Our program addresses both types of addiction:
- help determine personal reasons for quitting
- show ways to deal with urges
- help determine which nicotine replacement therapy will work best for individuals
- teach ways to deal with a relapse
- demonstrate methods of stress management
Our Tobacco Cessation Program is:
- 4 session program
- once a week for 4 weeks
- 1 to 1 1/2 hour sessions
- cost is $80 for all 4 sessions
- some insurances cover the cost, or at least part of it
- facilitator is an ex-smoker
